She was very professional, careful, claiming and genuinely tried her up most to make me feel as calm and relaxed as possible.It was a the most positive experience I've had with a health professional. She talked me through the whole process / procedure and encouraged to take a self cervical screening test as she prepared.She apologied for running a little late with other patients, but it was hardly any time.The signage to location I'm unsure if it's intentional poor. I had to ask 2 separate shop assistants at neighbouring stores where the location was. The sign is hidden behind others and can only been seen once you're in front of the glass doors. Which has no indication of it being inside. Upstairs there's a closed gate on the stairwell without signage. The kind man working at the gem store below, assured me I wasn't the first or last to ask.

Foodie Gal: I cannot fault my experience here! I called to book in an IUD removal. The male receptionist was polite and offered me an appointment the following week. At my appointment I was seen by a female doctor, Emily who was on time, professional and just fabulous to deal with. She took down my history as a first time patient at this clinic, explained the IUD removal process, any possible risks, answered any questions I had, offered to do a Pap smear and STI swab which I happily accepted and then performed the removal quickly and efficiently. It wasn’t painful, just a little uncomfortable but it was over in a few seconds. Emily made me feel so comfortable and in capable hands. And to make the entire process even more satisfying, there was no out of pocket charge! The entire appointment/IUD removal/swabs etc was all bulk billed. Thank you Sexual Health Victoria and Dr Emily for such a painless stress-free experience.

Yet it is at highest standards with great doctors.They are not just specialised in HIV and std/sti, but also has GP's and everything else.

The nurses were lovely and make sure you are comfortable. The doctors are gentle and very professional. Highly recommend to women of all ages. Robert Lee: Emergency Department was very effective. Abit of wait time but because it was really busy. Did X-ray, ECG and blood test in 3 hours. Nurses and Dr were super friendly despite the hectic department. Nurse even brought me sandwich and water knowing that I skipped lunch. Pathology nurse was the best, took my blood in a snap. Dr was attentive and effective. No doubt one of the best ED in Victoria.

Rodney King: I would like to share my experience's with the Alfred hospital and its staff.Early last year I felt very unwell I was having trouble breathing.I visited my local hospital and was told I have the flu but I will be ok.I still did not feel any better a few days later so my wife took me to the Alfred hospital.They immediately recognised I was very ill by way of the way I presented with my symptoms.The quickly had x/rays and bloods done.In a matter of a very short time.The diagnosis was a serious case of pneumonia.Treatment was quickly organised and underway.I was told I was in a very poor state of health when arriving they suggested Ithat type of pneumonia can kill a person.My health rapidly improved over a few weeks and in a few months I was feeling great.To all the staff at the Alfred a big thank you from me on behalf of my family.Your response was amazing, I was so scared fearing the worst but you took my hand and said trust me we can help you.Words can only say so much to you all.Great people doing absolutely vital work we all rely on.Yesterday I visited your hospital again with a badly infected leg after a bad incident at home.When I arrived everything was managed and orchestrated in a way I believe most hospitals fall short in, I say that with the utmost respect to other hospitals and their staff.I was made a priority to help me recover and I'm already an outpatient with the hospital requesting me to return each day to check on my progress.Thank you once again to all the staff at this amazing hospital.In my eyes you are the best hospital I've been too.And I unfortunately have been to quite a few in Melbourne, often leaving disappointed.I am so happy and proud of you all at the Alfred hospital.Our family trust you to look after us 😊Thank you Kind regards Rodney king
