Hofbräuhaus Melbourne: what do users think?

Ben Sorensen: The schnitzel is the absolute best and I’m totally spoiled now….The food here is the BIG winner but they also have a brilliant range of schnapps and German bier as you’d expect.Authentic atmosphere and top shelf hospitality.Perfect for groups, date night or post work drinks.

Charlie R: Wonderful atmosphere either way waitresses in proper German outfits serving food and drinks. Food was quick to come out especially considering the large amount of people dining, the food was ok but not the best.Vegetarian options: Not too many options however vegans and vegetarians still supportedDietary restrictions: Extremely supportive

Daniel W: ✅️ Great food, great time!We visited as a large group recently and the venue definitely exceeded expectations. There was a wide variety of food and drink options, the staff were very friendly, and the food itself was delicious. We did find service a little bit on the slower end with some meals coming out as others in our group had finished theirs, but I can appreciate that the place is fairly large, and the fact it was peak hour would have certainly contributed to this. The food definitely made up for it though, so we'd love to return some time soon!

Alex Law: We visited this place on a Wednesday for dinner. It wasn't too busy, but quite a big crowd for a mid week dinner. We were quickly ushered to our tables by the manager, Deepak. His service was impeccable and very friendly. We ordered the meat and sausage platter to share amongst 5 of us. Food was delicious and much better than the ones in the city. Sausages were well seasoned and delicious. The pork knuckle was super crunchy in the outside, and yet, tender on the inside. We were spoilt with the beer variety that was available. Deepak even offered us a few rounds of different schnapps, which was very generous of him. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes German pork knuckles, sausages, and schnitzels. Wash the food down with the amazing beers and brings this place to another level. Well done, Deepak and team!

Mihoko Nakahara: My favorites were the Crumbed mushrooms, Traditional German sausages, Fried quark doughnuts and Hofbräuhaus Brezel Sundae. The staff were very friendly - thank you for singing the happy birthday song with us! That made this a more memorable birthday feast for us. Definitely recommended and we'll be back.

Reyne ILVES: Always a pleasant experience topped off with a fresh stein of Maissel's Weisse. The staff always go above and beyond, and do everything to accomodate!Kid-friendliness: Very accomodating including making room for prams, kids colouring books, crayons etc.

Andreymae Meora: My partner and I ordered four different beers, each with delightful tastes. We also enjoyed our food order - the schnitzel and the sausage platter was a bomb, and generous portioned. The live music added to the experience. We stayed even longer because of it. We even requested a song, and delivered well.

The Aegean Greek Restaurant: what do users think?

Karen Khoury: Had a great banquet here...great food, service and atmosphere. Wonderful music and a belly dancer...perfect night!Parking: It's a busy area...may need to allow a bit extra time to find parking.

Vaughan Jones: Good fun night. Great for families and a laugh.Recommended dishes Greek Salad, Souvlaki with Potatoes, Saganaki, Meatballs, Dips with Bread …

Owen Miller: Don't let the muted exterior fool you, there's a lively experience to be had inside!Such an enjoyable night with the banquet option proving to be an appealing assortment of delectable food. I was able to try a variety of Greek beer, then a dancer came in to perform a show and get the whole room up on the dancefloor. Not to be missed.Don't let thr

El Rincon: what do users think?

Sheldon Florence: An outstanding Spanish restaurant we just discovered in Melbourne. A casual restaurant with authentic Spanish dishes made with high quality ingredients. We only tried the tapas and all the dishes had fantastic balanced flavors. They also have a good list of Spanish wines to enjoy with the food. The service was also friendly, helpful and switched on. This restaurant is must go in my opinion.

Old Melbourne Gaol: what do users think?

Michelle Crocker: Been here many times and each time i come back something further has been added - additional tour or events. Great activity for families. I booked ahead of arrival to attend 'Women in the Criminal Justice' tour ran over the school holiday period. Tour guide was knowledgeable and shared interesting stories about the women's wing and prison life. Small gift shop available at the end of the tour. Wished that they stocked books on women's experiences in the Old Melbourne Goal though.

Wendy Coates: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure

Cha Spring: Interesting place, a lot of creepy and sad stories to read. Probably not the best place to go with children but definitely an interesting activity in Melbourne.Very kind staff at the entrance.

Rachael Easton: Was a pretty cool place. It was a shame there was only one main building to explore, and the uni uses other buildings, hence the 4 star review. Personally, i don't think it's worth the $35 entry but is informative with a self guided audio tour you can download as well.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Lindsay Buttery: An eye-opening hug glimpse into life as it was lived within its walls. Today was very busy at the Gaol, with several school groups visiting, but this was no issue.Confronting at times but worthwhile.

David Harris: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No

Joel Winters (#JOELIN Adventures): A eye opening and educational experience. Recommended a visit.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

silvia Devars: Very interesting. They document that many prisoners went crazy from the inhumane treatment they received and that no prisoners reformed.A lot was learned from this experience.

Andrew Calder: Informative and well worth it. Great for families of all ages. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Great photos to be had. Free self-guided audio tour is included. Allow 60-90 minutes. A range of tickets including family and senior.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

raewyn Cole: Really Really interesting with so much history attached, although I felt a little uneasy at times but glad I made the effortVisited on Weekday Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended No …
